The theme of the study focuses on the leisure activity styles of the handicapped. An inepth interview method is applied to investigate issues, including the leisure activities they take part in, leisure constraints they face and the differences in leisure activity styles they reslly interview engage in and they would expect to. In addition, the respondents' perceived satisfaction on barrier-free leisure settings and some necessary improvement of the facility items are also discussed.The results of this study are listed as follows:1. The leisure activity styles that the handicapped engage in are similar to those that normal teenagers do.2. The leisure activities they can participate in are different from those they would expected to engage in.3. The greatest obstacle that prevents them from taking leisure activities comes from the presure of schoolwork.4. The barrier-free settings still have some room for improvement.Based on the results of the study, some suggestions can be presented to schools for their reference in designing leisure activity programs for their handicapped students. The study can also be referred to the civil handicapped associations in their mapping out leisure activities for the handicapped.
