醫療專業學生及新進人員在臨床工作場所中的學習十分重要。多數的臨床老師雖然在專業知識上都有一定的水準,但是在教學的技巧上可能有所不足。面對具備不同知識背景的各層級學員,在時間有限的情況及臨床工作的壓力下,有效率的臨床教學有其挑戰性。本文參考現有的文獻,介紹Peyton's四步驟教學法的核心概念,包括:教師實做示範(Demonstration)、教師解構講解(Deconstruction)、學員理解複誦(Comprehension)、學員實做示範(Performance),以提供臨床教師可實際運用的技巧,達到有效率的教學成效。
To competently perform a wide range of clinical procedures, effectively learning the skills is essential for junior doctors in medical institution. Peyton's four-step approach, which consisted of four clearly defined instructional steps including "Demonstration", "Deconstruction", "Comprehension" and "Performance", is becoming increasingly prevalent in medical education. Understanding the concepts of this new teaching methodology helps consultant teachers to offer the effective clinical skill learning course for junior doctors.
