Recent Development of Heterogeneous Catalysts for Oxidative Steam Reforming of Ethanol

摘要


人類使用化石燃料已造成了全球的環境問題,因此尋找能永續使用的替代能源是現今科學家的一個重要使命。氫氣為目前公認重要的綠色能源之一,目前有數種產製的方法,其中氧化蒸氣重組乙醇反應(Oxidative steam reforming of ethanol, OSRE)是一個相對節能且有效率的產氫方式。近年來,許多種類的觸媒已應用在乙醇轉氫反應,具有優異的催化活性與長時間穩定性。本文將著重於簡介氧化蒸氣重組乙醇反應觸媒的發展。

The consumption of fossil fuel from human activities has caused environmental problems. Therefore, finding a sustainable alternative energy source is an important mission for scientists. Hydrogen is recognized as one of a green energy sources that can be generated in several routes. Among them, the oxidative steam reforming of ethanol (OSRE) is a relatively energy-saving and efficient method for hydrogen production. Many catalysts have been studied in the catalytic ethanol-to-hydrogen conversion that exhibited high activity and stability. This article will focus on the recent development of catalysts for oxidative steam reforming of ethanol.
