中國社會企業發展及其組織績效的影響因素

The Development of Chinese Social Enterprises and Its Performance Antecedents

摘要


社會企業是以商業手段解決社會問題的一種創新型組織。不同於傳統企業和非營利組織,社會企業採用商業化的運作方式,旨在解決某一社會問題,創造社會價值,它通過營利行為實現自我造血,支持組織的可持續發展,利潤則主要用於企業發展以及社會目標。本文首先回顧了大量國內外社會企業理論研究的相關文獻。在此基礎上,論文運用定量研究方法深入探究了社會企業家個人特徵對組織績效的影響作用,通過對107家中國社會企業的相關調研數據進行回歸分析,論文提出的兩個假設得到驗證:1、中國社會企業家的學歷與組織收入規模呈正相關關係;2、中國社會企業家在非營利組織的以往工作經驗與組織實現盈虧平衡呈正相關關係。最後,論文針對中國社會企業在發展中遇到的諸種問題與挑戰,提出了建設性的政策建議。

Social enterprise is an innovative organizational type aiming at social purpose with business models. Different from traditional enterprises and non-profit organization, social enterprise operates with disciplines of business to mitigate social problems and create social value. The paper has reviewed a large number of related literature on social enterprise. Based on prior studies, we empirically tested the effects of social entrepreneurs’ characteristics on the performances of social enterprises based on investigation data of 107 Chinese social enterprises. We found the social entrepreneur’s educational background is positively related to the performance of social enterprise in China, and the social entrepreneur’s working experience in non-profit organization is also positively related to the performance. At the end of this paper, the authors conclude by raising some suggestion for social enterprises according to their specific problems and challenges in China.
