The model of museum-school collaboration has been applied in many countries for a long time with significant achievements. Its concepts coincide with those of the current domestic educational revolution because integration of resources of museums and schools is able to supplement school education and is expected to achieve the goal of "win-win" education. Through a review of the literature, this study aims to first elucidate the histories of museum-school collaboration in England and the United States and then to evaluate whether or not these models can be fitted into the domestic environment. Second, this study analyzes several cases implemented in Taiwan to determine the feasibility of practicing models of museum-school collaboration. From this research, suggestions for Taiwan include: (1) The British government has instituted museum-school collaboration as part of curriculums for a long time. This has brought practical benefits to developing museum-school collaboration and serves as a good example for Taiwan. (2) For the museum-leading model, museums need to have strong professional support to be initiators of museum-school collaboration. (3) For the school-leading model, school teachers should enhance their understanding of local museums to make better use of museum resources. (4) Only when schools play a major role can the development of museum-school collaboration be long lasting.
