摘要

《無聲息的歌唱》是新僧星雲在上個世紀五十年代初年剛到台灣時期的作品，雖然它是新僧星雲海東台灣的雛鶯初啼，但卻足能反映大師早年的文體革新和宗教革新思想。《無聲息的歌唱》吹響了宗教改革的號角，是星雲人間佛教運動的先聲；《無聲息的歌唱》是星雲文學才華的初次展現，反映了星雲因應時代需要，利用新文體、新方式弘傳佛教的革新思維。
