This paper aims to elaborate on the ways of hospice care and Buddhist chaplaincy in Taiwan. On one aspect, to study it as an example of Humanistic Buddhism in practice, and on the other, to re-establish the philosophy that "the Dharma does not leave this world" based on hospice practices of the Buddhist Chaplains in Taiwan. These practices further emphasize the significance of practice within contemporary society. This paper is a reflection on the valuable experiences and perception of the Buddhist chaplains in Taiwan after having gone through a practical process in hospice care. This will be a worthwhile consideration in development and implementation for the future of Humanistic Buddhism.
