朱鏡宙居士與中國近現代佛教

星雲大師《百年佛緣》第50、51節曾專門介紹近現代浙江籍的著名佛教居士朱鏡宙。在星雲大師看來，朱鏡宙的思想和立場屬於傳統派佛教，「雖然思想不同、看法不一，但為了佛法，我們還是殊途同歸啊！」朱鏡宙居士在中國近現代佛教史上有著極為廣泛的交遊，他不僅皈依虛雲老和尚，同時還與包括太虛大師、法舫法師等著名的近現代佛教改革家以及星雲大師等都有過密切往來。朱鏡宙在中國近現代佛教史上的貢獻，正如星雲大師所說的，主要表現為「印經廣傳佛教」、「認真弘傳佛法」。本文簡單考察了朱鏡宙學佛及弘法經歷，分析了其佛學思想及其對中國現代佛教的貢獻。透過朱鏡宙中年以後的佛教人生，我們不僅可以看到中國近現代佛教思潮發展演變的軌跡和脈絡，同時對於當代人間佛教的發展也不無啟示或借鑑意義。

Zhu Jingzhou, a well known Buddhist practitioner from Zhejiang Province, is specifically mentioned in the 50_(th) and 51_(st) chapters of Venerable Master Hsing Yun's Buddhist Affinities Across 100 Years. In Venerable Master Hsing Yun's opinion, Zhu Jingzhou's thinking and standpoints has originated from traditional Buddhism perspectives. However, Venerable Master Hsing Yun said, 〞Although we have different standpoints and understanding, but for the purpose of propagating the Dharma, we managed to come to a concurrence.〞 Zhu Jingzhou has established wide connections in the field of Contemporary Chinese Buddhism. He has taken refuge in the Triple Gem and requested Master Xuyun as his teacher. He has also maintained close contacts with several modern Buddhism revolutionaries like Master Taixu, Venerable Fahang, and Venerable Master Hsing Yun. As mentioned by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, Zhu Jingzhou's contributions in the history of Contemporary Chinese Buddhism mainly included printing scriptures and propagating its teachings. This paper briefly examines the experiences of Zhu Jingzhou in learning and propagating the Dharma, as well as analyzes his Buddhist philosophy and his contributions towards Contemporary Chinese Buddhism. By looking at Zhu Jingzhou's life as a Buddhist from his mid-years onwards, not only can we witness the developmental and transformational trends of Contemporary Chinese Buddhism, but we can also understand the meaning and development of Humanistic Buddhism from here.
