氛圍音樂於溫泉旅館之探索研究-以臺南關子嶺溫泉風景區為例

An Exploratory Study of Atmospheric Music Broadcasting in Hot Spring Hotel - A Preliminary Investigation of the Guanzihling Hot Spring, Tainan, Taiwan

摘要


臺灣許多溫泉旅館除提供基本的泡湯外,更將同樣具放鬆身心效果的氛圍音樂帶入泡湯環境中,以期能加乘泡湯效果。本研究初步抽樣調查臺南關子嶺溫泉風景區四間溫泉旅館進行參與觀察、播放音樂人員的問卷調查與非結構式訪談。希望能了解溫泉旅館內各場域空間播放音樂類型的現況與選擇的原因。結果發現:大廳與餐飲區等公共區域的音樂播放率較高;客房與個人湯屋等私人區域則選擇不播放音樂。在音樂類型的選擇上,以能讓旅客放鬆的輕音樂使用率最高。在播放音樂人員的部分,業者並無選擇特定人員播放,而該人員亦無相關的音樂專業背景。本研究建議,溫泉旅館應將音樂播放系統化與科學化,並加強播放人員的音樂素養,以期能以溫泉音樂建立其溫泉旅館的獨特性。

In Taiwan, many hot spring hotels not only provide the baths, but also enhance the whole hot spring bathing impressions by broadcasting relaxing atmospheric music. We preliminary select four hotels in Guanzihling as the investigation objects and applied questionnaire, participant observation and unstructured interviews with hotel staffs who broadcast music. All of these are in an attempt to further understand the music type that is played in hot spring hotels and why these choices of music were made. The results were summarized that in public areas such as the lobby and restaurants, there was a relatively higher tendency to have music playing. On the contrary, there was no music playing in private areas such as guest rooms and individual SPA districts. For the choice of music type, Light music which can make customers relax is the primary music choice. For the staff who choose and broadcast the music, it is neither limited to a specific staff nor any music background to be required. According to the findings in this research, it is recommended that music broadcasting should be systemized and scientized. And in order to make a better use of music to create unique hotel brand image, hotel managers are recommended to receive more advanced music trainings.
