理想和自由:解構概念中的救贖觀

Ideal and Freedom: Redemption in Deconstruction

並列摘要

Idealism is dominant in modern Chinese thinking. People may fiercely attack another's idealism, yet be unaware of their own idealism. This paper is devoted to analyzing and deconstructing idealism. The deconstruction of idealism has been undertaken by both philosophical postmodernism and Zhuang Zi's philosophy. The cornerstone of idealism is its assumption of objective truth, which is barred upon the concept of necessity. However, according to Kierkegaard's analysis, the concept of necessity belongs to the category of history and cannot be used to support the assumption of objective truth. In a similar way, Zhuang Zi criticized the one-sidedness of idealism and proceeded into the field of nothing, namely, the presence of all possibilities. Both Kierkegaard and Zhuang Zi have demonstrated a logical return into possibility and revealed its absoluteness. Meanwhile, the difference between Kierkegaard and Zhuang Zi is also noteworthy. Kierkegaard displayed a human paradox: that a human being forfeits his freedom in pursuing freedom in light of redemption, while Zhuang Zi, who had no conception of redemption, saw human endeavor of doing nothing as the unique way to enter the field of possibilities. In a concluding discussion, the paper argues that, considering that the concept of possibility is essential to deconstructing idealism, redemption is a logical access to possibilities.
