A REVIEW OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC RISK USING ECOLOGICAL NICHE MODELS

COVID-19 is the most serious global pandemic infectious disease that has occurred in decades, seriously affecting social stability and human life and health. Epidemic prevention and control has become the main task of countries to deal with the spread of COVID-19 in the past three years. This paper first introduces the background of the COVID-19 outbreak and the impact of the epidemic, and briefly describes the significance of the ecological niche model for epidemic risk prediction; secondly, it introduces the research status of spatial epidemiology and the research status of COVID-19 risk factors And the research status of niche models in epidemics, and briefly introduce the advantages and disadvantages of several niche models; Finally, this article is summarized, and the shortcomings of the current niche models in COVID-19 risk prediction are analyzed. Future research is prospected.
