In this research, the light propagation through a virtual chicken cornea tissue is modeled by the pseudospectral time-domain(PSTD) simulation technique. The stromal layer which is composed of collagen fibrils is established and we simulate light propagating through it. Various geometrical factors are analyzed to investigate the effect on optical transparency, including the arrangement and size of the collagen fibrils. Furthermore, the transmittance, spatial correlation, and radar cross-section are used to analyze the characteristics of light. Simulation findings of this research may help us acquire fundamental information that influencing the transparency of the chicken cornea.
