本論文包含劇本《皇民?歡戲。》及其創作報告兩個部分。 劇本部分,講述的是日本殖民時期臺灣一個歌仔戲班的故事。由於皇民化的影響,故事主角許文秀身處的歌仔戲班面臨改制的危機,並被迫前往日本新劇劇團學習,藉此她也展開一段關於「身份認同」的旅程,在經歷一系列的事件後,許文秀終於意識到自己究竟想成為什麼人、演唱什麼戲。 本劇以「什麼是臺灣人」作為問題意識,試圖探討後殖民論述中有關「主體建構/重構」的議題。 而在創作報告部分,則針對劇本創作理念、引用文獻進行完整回顧,並爬梳構作劇本時所設計的元素及編創方法,最後進行總結式的自我評估,以完整闡述整部劇本之創作過程。
This paper consists of two parts: the play And Wenxiu Sings On and its creation report. The play is about a Taiwanese opera troupe which is active during the Japanese colonial period. Due to the influence of the "Kōminka movement", the troupe is forced to undergo reformation, and Xu Wenxiu, the protagonist of the play, is forced to study in a Japanese shingeki troupe. Therefore, she embarks on a journey in search of her identity. After a series of events, Xu Wenxiu finally knows who she wants to be and what drama she wants to sing. The play takes "What is Taiwaneseness?" as its problematic, and attempts to explore the issue of "subject construction/reconstruction" in the postcolonial discourse. In the creation report, a review on the cited literatures will be conducted. Then, the ideas ,literary devices and writing techniques of the play will be further explained. Finally, a self-assessment will be made in order to conclude the entire playwriting process.
