在現今的社會中,家庭自動化系統已經是一種趨勢,我們可以經由家庭自動化系統來達成遠端控制家電、居家看護與保全的功能。其中,電力線網路通訊系統為家庭自動化系統的最好的實現方式之一。 本論文主要是討論在電力線網路通訊系統中,能否以FPGA實驗板實現低頻OFDM調變方式。因為電力線網路是一非常不利於通訊的通訊媒介,我們需要OFDM調變方式來改善其通訊品質,使其不只能達到控制家電的功能,亦可傳送所需的資料,達成電力線網路通訊的目標。 本論文所使用的FPGA實驗板為Stratix II系列的FPGA模擬實驗板,型號為EP2S90F1020C5,使用的FFT/IFFT演算法為ALTERA FFT/IFFT MegaCore Function,使用8051作為FPGA與PC的通訊介面,使用X 10的低頻電力線藕合電路將訊號耦合至電力線網路。藉由以上的實驗器材組合,完成高通訊品質的電力線通訊網路系統。
In the modern society smart homes have become quite popular. In smart homes household appliances may be operated conveniently via remote control, and security measures may be activated automatically. Power line communication system is one of the best choices for the infrastructure upon which smart homes are built. In this thesis, a low frequency OFDM modulation scheme is implemented by FPGA board for the power line communication system. Despite the high noise level in the power line, communication quality may be improved by the proposed OFDM modulation scheme, so that not only control signals but also data signal transmission can be achieved via the power line. The FPGA board adopted in this study is the model EP2S90F1020C5 of Stratix II. The FFT/IFFT algorithm is implemented by the ALTERA FFT/IFFT MegaCore Function. The communication interface between the FPGA board and a control PC is a 8051 microprocessor. The signal is coupled to power line via an X10 low frequency coupling circuit. The overall system is designed to achieve high quality power line communication.
