琉球隠沒帯西南端的剪力波非均向性

摘要


剪力波(S wave)在通過非均向性介質時會偏極化至兩個正交方向,分別以快慢不同的速度傳遞而逐漸分離,該現象已在釵h穿過隱沒帶附近地幔的S波中觀測到(e.g. Fouch and Fischer, 1998; Fischer and Wiens, 1996)。透過剪力波分離(shear-wave splitting)的計算找出快速超前波相的極化方向(fast direction,
