紀實與虚構:文學作家紀錄片 《劉以鬯:1918》的敘事策略

摘要


文學作家紀錄片在學術研究範疇裏,仍是一個較新的課題。劉以鬯是香港文學的一代宗師,不僅寫下《酒徒》、《對倒》等傳世名著,他長期提攜文壇後輩,貢獻遠大。黃勁輝導演在2015年完成《劉以鬯:1918》紀錄片,電影敘事包含了傳主的真實時空、由演員扮演傳主的過去時空、由演員演繹傳主虚構的文學時空。本文採用文本分析法和深度訪談法,探討紀錄片的敘事特色。第一章為緒論、第二章為文學作家紀錄片:導演為傳主「相體裁衣」、第三章為作品主線的敘事策略、第四章為城市主線的敘事策略、第五章為總結。

Documentaries of writers are still a relatively new subject in the field of academic research, and Liu Yichang is a generational legend for Hong Kong literature. He not only wrote timeless masterpieces such as “The Drunkard” and “Intersection,” he has been a big supporter for the younger individuals involved in literature. Director Ben Wong completed filming the documentary “LIU Yi-chang: 1918” in 2015 as it included Liu Yichang in real time, actors portraying him in the past, and others playing fictional characters in his literature. This study uses text analysis and in-depth interviews to explore the narrative features of the documentary as the first chapter is the introduction of the study; the second chapter introduces about how the director “tailors” the documentary to match the protagonist; the third chapter discusses the narrative strategy of the literary works in the documentary; the fourth chapter then discusses the narrative strategy for the cities Liu has visited in the documentary, and fifth chapter is the conclusion.
