法治教育議題融入國中公民科之設計本位研究-探討死刑存廢

摘要


十二年國教課綱上路,素養導向的教學成了當前教師須積極面對的挑戰與學習課題,其中「議題融入課程」能促使原有課程得到擴充並與生活相連結,更是具備圓滿達成核心素養學習的功能。本研究採設計本位研究法(Design Based Research,DBR),旨在設計發展一門適合國中生的法治教育議題融入之死刑存廢課程,並探究學生的學習成效及課程回饋。 以高雄市某國中三年級學生共三十位為研究對象,透過實際案例探討、小組討論與發表等方式,進行共五節課的死刑存廢議題主題式課程。本研究教材依照發現、整合、分析、設計、發展、應用、評鑑、結果等八個階段逐步開發與實踐,過程中透過專業社群進行專家評鑑,以使教材更加專業完善,並藉由課堂觀察、學習單及滿意度問卷等資料分析,了解學生的學習成效以及對本課程的滿意度及感受為何。研究結論如下:一、運用設計本位研究法,可有效設計發展一門法治教育議題融入國中公民科之「死刑存廢」課程。二、實施法治教育議題之「死刑存廢」課程後,有助於培養學生的公民核心素養,且學習成效佳。三、學生對於法治教育議題之「死刑存廢」課程給予正向評價及回饋。 最後,根據研究結果,對於此議題課程設計與實施提出相關建議,希望能提供未來研究及國中教師進行議題課程之參考。

With the implementation of Curriculum Guidelines of 12-year Basic Education, literacy-oriented teaching methods have become a challenge that teachers must actively face. Among them, the "issue integrated curriculum" can extend the original curriculum and connect with real life, and it functions as core literacy learning. This research adopted a design-based research method, aiming to design and develop a course on the issue of retention or abolition of death penalty that was suitable for middle school students to integrate legal education issues, and explore students' learning effectiveness and course feedback. The subjects were thirty ninth-grade students in a middle school in Kaohsiung City. The five-period course on retention or abolition of death penalty was conducted through case study, presentation of group discussion, and information integration. This course materials were gradually developed and practiced in accordance with the eight phases,which included discovery, organization analysis, design, implement, application, evaluation, and discuss results. In the process, this study was evaluated by expert community to make the course materials more professional and perfect. The degree of satisfaction and learning effectiveness from learners were collected through classroom observation records, course study sheets and course satisfaction questionnaires. The following conclusions can be drawn: 1. By using the design-based research method, it can be effectively developed a course on retention or abolition of death penalty that integrates legal education issues. 2. After the implementation of the course on retention or abolition of death penalty, it will help cultivate students' civic literacy, and the learning effect will be good. 3. Students give positive evaluations and feedbacks on course on retention or abolition of death penalty. Finally, based on the research results, relevant suggestions are put forward for the design and implementation of the subject curriculum, hoping to provide future research and reference for junior middle school teachers to conduct the subject curriculum.
