混和灰關聯及DEA模式進行面板產業績效分析與評估

TFT-LCD Industry Performance Analysis and Evaluation using GRA and DEA Models

摘要


台灣政府於2002年提出兩兆雙星計畫,以規劃兩兆預期產值的半導體產業及影像顯示產業,而影像顯示產業中又以薄膜電晶體液晶顯示器 (TFT-LCD)可說是台灣極具影響力的產業。本研究以台灣六家TFT-LCD廠商作為研究對象,採用2009-2012年的資料,應用資料包絡分析法(Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA)評估產業績效與經營效率,透過文獻分析萃取出投入項目:固定資產、營業費用、研發費用與員工人數;以及產出項目:現金流量和稅前淨利。並以Malmquist生產力指數做跨年度之經營效率分析,期建立一套經營效率評量的客觀架構。最後透過灰關聯分析及Entropy權重分析,建立台灣TFT-LCD產業排名。本研究結果可作為台灣TFT-LCD產業分析自身經營效率優劣的影響因素,並從而進一步改善之建議。

In 2002, Taiwan government proposed Two Trillion and Twin Star Development Program for the development of semiconductor and image display industries. In the image display industry, the thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) is the most important topic to effect the development of Taiwan’s economy. Therefore, in this study, we focus on this industry and investigate the six important companies using 2009-2012 data, and then we use DEA model to evaluate industry performance and operational efficiency. By the literature review, we extract the input variables, including fixed assets, operating expenses, R&D expenses and number of employees; and the output variables, including cash flow and net sales. Next, we use Malmquist productivity index to analyze the operating efficiency which is across of four years and establish an objective of operating efficiency assessment framework. Finally, we use grey relation analysis to investigate the rank between the chosen companies, and then we use entropy to decide the weight of the evaluated criteria. The analysis results can be provided for the information of further improvement to the TFT-LCD industry.
