摘要

在陳義芝童年生活在鄉村生活和他的溫柔敦厚的個性，影響他的詩文，被多位學者公認富有鄉土意象與古典抒情，他詩文中所呈現的「質樸又不失美麗」的意象書寫特色。
　　他詩文的意象大致上分為母親意象、夫妻情愛意象和情慾意象，他常用大自然的景物與典故的「質樸」描述，來呈現他力透紙背情感的意境之「美麗」。

Yi-Chi Chen draws deeply from his time spent living a simple village life to create his poems. His essays reflect the kindness, honesty and sincerity of his personality. Both of his poems and essays contain beautiful imagery woven together from the strong emotion of love. Love between a mother and her child, love between a romantic couple and love found in friendship. He always use natural scenery and allusion by simple description, that show his strong emotion in frame of mind by beautiful.
