The most important aspect of an effective and profitable business strategy is one that entails sustainable management, covers all areas and exhibits product innovation. As a result of the rapid growth and vast quantities of 3C products, the environmental impact of packaging waste in new 3C products is staggering. Therefore, efforts that have been considered regarding how to reduce packaging waste in the stages of production design, packaging re-use, environmental protection and reducing energy consumption, have become an increasingly important topic. Consequently, this study of the production and packaging of the ubiquitous computer mouse applies the experiential scenario design (ESD) method for pre-product development through macro-scenario analysis to identify product development opportunities. In addition, it is supplemented by life-cycle analysis matrix (MET) and literature to use as a frame of reference for green product and packaging development. Furthermore, contemporary 3C products by popular manufacturers, are evaluated as reference for product development process and green business innovation. Studies have shown that green design is a prominent concern not only for the present but also for the future and thereby must be considered and implemented for corporate social responsibility and also as a direction to strive for. The use of a green product development process will enhance a corporate image for green innovation. The results of this study showcases a computer mouse "where the product and the packaging are simultaneously together as one - packaging with product value." This method of design thinking is to aim for a greener solution that will be conducive to product and package reduction.
