首先合成雙胺單體N-(4- (4-([2,2':6',2'-terpyridin]-4'-yl)phenoxy)phenyl)-N- (4-aminophenyl )benzene-1,4-diamine後與二酸單體聚合成聚醯胺,並探討其熱性質及溶解性。 本研究合成之單體含有三苯胺可以增加單體溶解性,而三吡啶具有三牙配位基可以抓取金屬離子,利用3,6,9-trioxaundecanedioic acid單體增加溶解性,單體主結構聚合物較易溶於水中或有機溶劑中,在三吡啶抓取金屬離子後降低溶解性,使聚合物在水中沉澱,可以將其應用在廢水處理的重金屬回收。
A series of novel polyamides containing terpyridine and triphenylamine moieties were successfully synthesized. First N-(4-(4-([2,2':6',2'-terpyridin]- 4'-yl)phenoxy)phenyl)-N-(4-aminophenyl)benzene-1,4 -diamine monomer was prepared and subsequently polymerized with dicarboxylic acids to obtain polyamides. Then, the thermal properties and solubility of the polyamides were investigated and discussed. The presence of triphenylamine and 3,6,9-trioxaundecanedioic acid moieties could provide high solubility to the polymers. Furthermore, the synthesized polymers have the ability to chelate with metal ions ascribed to the presence of terpyridine moieties. The polymer dissolving in both aqueous and organic solvent begin to precipitate the metal ions upon chelation and therefore the polymer could be applicable in the recovery of heavy metals in waste water treatments.
