摘要

過去三十年間，各大醫療院所迅速的導入資訊系統輔助其日常作業及決策，在缺乏整體性考量下，各部門的資訊系統各自發展，導致資訊部門面臨整合、維護、更新的困難。由於網路技術的發展，實現服務導向架構(Service-Oriented Architecture, SOA) 的精神變得更加容易，SOA所帶來的優點能夠解決目前醫療資訊系統發展的困境，並且提供醫療院所更容易的管理資訊系統，在一個能完整與流程整合的資訊系統之下，對於醫療服務的品質、人力負擔皆能夠有效的產生助益。本研究提出一個醫療資訊系統的系統架構，並以個案醫院的部門資訊系統為案例，將原有的資訊系統轉換成符合SOA架構的資訊系統為測試模型，討論SOA對於醫療產業的各項特性及資訊系統發展帶來的幫助。

It has been prevailed in recognizing the importance of using information technology (IT) to enhance the efficiency in the healthcare sector. Despite the increasing efforts dedicated in these IT enhancements, it is still a major challenge to fully integrate various systems into the actual processes. The rapid changes in medical technology and user requirements also make the traditional top-down approach in the information system design less feasible. This research investigates the possibility in developing a hospital information system (HIS) based on the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). A prototype has been built for the hospital admission process and the flexibility of this system has been tested in four scenarios: process changes, new request in existed process, business rule changes, and automated decision support mode. This preliminary study is to illustrate advantages in implementing SOA for a HIS. Remarks on the difficulties and comments are also summarized.
