環境衛生用藥產業經營策略之研究-以A公司為例

Industry Development and Strategic Analysis: A Case Study in Taiwan’s Insecticide Industry

摘要

台灣屬於海島型氣候，溫暖潮溼的環境易孳生病媒害蟲，再加上溫室效應的影響，環境衛生用藥已成為民生必需產業。環境衛生用藥產業因為政府單位的管理，造成產業封閉性及有限性，雖然近年沒有新進廠商加入，但主要廠商競爭激烈，且隨著環保意識的日愈高漲，逼迫廠商朝環保甚至生物技術方面不斷研發新藥劑，提高產品附加價值，以利在產業中脫穎而出。
本研究引用波特五力分析、SWOT分析，以及企業的內、外部分析，找出企業的競爭優勢。以國際公司在台經營為例，藉以探討及分析環境衛生用藥產業的競爭環境，個案公司營運現況以及經營策略。研究結果發現：
一、政府管制產業，受衛生政策影響
二、中小型企業型態，採取策略聯盟以強化產業競爭力
三、市場集中度高，突顯產品差異化及創新性　
四、開發封閉通路，以降低通路經營成本
五、生物科技是未來趨勢

The purpose of this study is to research the competitive strategies of firms in Taiwan’s insecticide industry. We aimed to discover the managerial strategies adapted by a case company in this industry. We started with the industry analysis, and then followed with a case study. By way of Michael Porter’s “Five Forces”, generic strategy model, and the SWOT analysis, we are to explore the managerial strategies of the case company, to know how the case company keeps its competitiveness in the industry.
