本論文是利用具有微孔洞的poly (tetrafluoro ethylene) (PTFE)膜為支撐物,分別塗佈PBI / DMAc溶液及PBI / PP混合液,製備PBI / PTFE及PBI-PP / PTFE複合膜。我們利用SEM (scanning electron microscope)觀察膜材表面以及截面的結構、TGA (thermogravimetric analysis)分析膜材熱穩定性。並將PBI / PTFE及PBI-PP / PTFE複合膜材製作成膜電極組(MEA),在160℃進行H2 / O2單電池測試。實驗數據顯示,複合膜應用於高溫PEMFC具有優異性能。
In this study, high mechanical strength porous (polytetra fluoro ethylene) (PTFE) is as a supporting membrane, for fabricating polybenzimidazole (PBI) resin composite membranes. FTIR, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS) studies show that PBI is well laminated with the porous PTFE. The composite membranes are used to prepare membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) and carry out fuel cell tests. We show a good fuel cell performance is obtained of these MEAs at 160℃ with unhumidified H2/O2 fuel gases.
