This research mainly describes the current jewelry industry in Taiwan that is in the face of changes in economic circumstances and consumer experience under the state change, and how to keep up with the market pace by service upgrades, reversing the consumers’ impression and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. In the discussion from the perspective of service upgrade, the conclusion is expected as the reference of the actual practice of the jewelry industry according to the differentiated demands from industry operation. In the first section, the adversity in Taiwan is presented by industrial analysis. Then the essential factors to promote industrial competitiveness are induced from related work and these necessary elements are also summarized through interviews and visiting. Finally, several suggestions are given to provide references for industry operators’ future management.
