在90年代時鋰電池隨著手機發展而興起。由於鋰電池具備能量密度高,使用壽命長、自放電率低等特性,導致現在所有可攜式3C電子產品都可見到鋰電池的蹤跡。全世界對於鋰電池的產量需求是相當高的,但是鋰電池產業在臺灣反而只有少數公司在生產。本研究的主題是討論臺灣鋰電池產業的中的端蓋組零組件廠商C公司在現階段如何運用公司的優勢與策略在業界競爭,以及因應未來產業的變化進行策略上的修正與探討。 首先,整理國內外鋰電池產業相關的資料,接著,對個案公司現階段經營狀況進行整理,再經由五力分析、SWOT分析及市場區隔策略等方法、配合相關同業人員的訪談,找出目前C公司的定位。最後,並彙整調查分析結果,提出C公司可行的競爭策略,以作為其因應目前產業競爭下之參考。 本研究結果除提供國內鋰電池產業之發展決策參考外,其研究方法及流程亦可套用在其它相關的電池產業,如電池芯或電池模組等的產業分析,希望將有助於國內電池產業分析之研究。
During 90s, with the rise of mobile phones technology, lithium battery was growing rapidly because of the characteristics of high energy density, long life, and low self-discharge rate. Now, lithium battery is commonly used and we can see them in all kinds of portable 3C devices. It seems that the demand on the lithium battery is extremely high worldwide; however, there are only a handful of companies in Taiwan that specialized in the production of battery and battery components. This study investigates how Company C, a battery end cap component maker, uses its strength to be successful in this industry. First, data are gathered from Taiwan domestic lithium battery industry to understand the general background of this industry. Following by a thorough overview on the case company’s business conditions, and then through five forces analysis, SWOT analysis, market segmentation strategies analysis, and interviewing with experts in the related field to identify Company C’s current positioning. Finally, after compile and analyze the survey results, viable competitive strategy recommendations are provided to Company C for strategic planning reference. The results of this study provide strategy references to lithium battery components companies in Taiwan, and the research methods and processes can also be applied to other related industries, such as battery cells or battery modules. I believe that the results are helpful to the domestic battery industry.
