隨著世界創新潮流演進與商業模式改變,工業手持裝置產業裡的品牌廠商,從以往的硬體製造生產委外的代工模式,逐漸將其它核心技術能力,包含了軟體設計、工業外觀設計等進行委外代工,而台灣的電子製造服務代工業除了擁有的生產與製造優勢之外,也必須要積極地順應此委外代工趨勢潮流,把握機會作積極性策略思考與執行,轉型成為能夠提供客戶完整的企業服務解決方案。 本論文將藉由選定之某電子製造服務代工公司為個案,從其身處的工業手持裝置的產業價值鏈、技術發展趨勢為切入點,藉由探討競爭策略與關鍵核心技術能力,分析個案公司的SWOT,檢視其在電子製造服務代工產業界中,發展軌跡與策略面相互分析討論。 最後本論文將提出針對個案電子製造服務代工廠,在面臨工業手持裝置產業環境變化時,與挑戰衝擊時,所建議的策略方案。
In the traditional working model, EMS firms play the role of manufacturing the goods instead of contributing in design activities, therefore, the EMS firms indeed only gain few profit from this working model. As the migration of the technology and the business model change, the brand company tends to outsource the key functions to EMS firms. The EMS firms need to consider the resources reallocation and take more responsibilities when the outsourcing model change and also need to engage the resources and pay more attentions on the strategic alignment with the brand company. This paper will study the trends and challenges of industrial handheld devices market, and to analyze the industry situations on the new working model . Finally, this paper will deliver the suggested competitive strategy for the EMS firm.
