利用氣相層析法進行保養品及食品中防腐劑的檢測

摘要


隨著科技的進步,化學防腐劑廣泛使用在食品、化妝品、飲品等等產品之中,用以延長產品的壽命。但過量添加防腐劑亦可能對人體健康有害。因此,我國衛生福利部食品藥物管理署公告規範多項防腐劑的最高允許使用含量及限用範圍。 為了發揮對市場監測及監督的功能,以氣相層析儀 (Gas Chromatography) 開發一種簡單、快速,能同時分析benzoic acid、benzyl alcohol、propylparaben、methylparaben 、ethylparaben、phenoxyethanol、sorbic acid等七種常見化學性防腐劑的檢測方法,並於實際樣品前處理方法中以較無毒性及低溶劑使用量概念,進行市售化妝品與食品之分析及追蹤含量。 本分析方法之同日間相對標準偏差 (%) 為 0.10 - 0.62%,異日間為 0.75 - 1.59%,線性迴歸係數 (R2) 均大於 0.9998。由此可見,此方法具有良好的線性與再現性。各防腐劑化合物回收率介於 97.60 - 102.62%,偵測極限為 0.03 - 0.2 μg/mL,定量極限為 0.05 - 0.5 μg/mL。因此,本研究所開發的分析方法,可大幅縮短分析時間,亦可作為相關檢測單位及各家製造廠對其產品使用之防腐劑是否有過量的參考檢測方法。 於實際樣品檢測上,共測試 83 種產品,分別為保養品、面膜、飲品及抹醬等,產品類別極廣,但利用簡易前處理方法及本研究所使用分析方法可順利偵測七種防腐劑,故相信此研究所開發方法可廣泛應用於市場監督。

Chemical preservatives are widely used for a variety of food, cosmetics and beverages for the extension of life with the development of technology. However, excessive chemical preservatives may cause harmful to human health. Therefore, Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) announce that the regulations of the multiple preservatives are permitted the maximum content and the using range. In order to develop the function of the supervision and inspection on the market, we attempt to use the gas chromatography (GC) to develop a simple and quick analytical method which analyses seven kinds of chemical preservative simultaneously, including benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol, propylparaben, methylparaben, ethylparaben, phenoxyethanol, sorbic acid etc… In the sample pre-processing, we utilize the method of non-toxic and low-solvent to analyze and to track content of chemical preservatives of cosmetics and food. The results of this analytical method show the relative standard deviation (RSD) of precision were between 0.10 - 0.62% in the same day and 0.75 - 1.59% in different day, the coefficient of determination (R2) of each calibration curve was more than 0.9998. Therefore, this analytical method has excellent linearity and reproducibility. Recovery of spiked samples were between 97.60 - 102.62%, the limitation of detection and quantitation were within the following ranges: 0.03 - 0.2 μg/mL (LOD) and 0.05 - 0.5 μg/mL (LOQ). In addition to short analytical time, department concerned and manufacturer which add the preservative to products can detect whether the preservative is excessive. We acquired eighty-three kinds of products from the market to detect the content of chemical preservatives, including a variety of care products, facial masks, beverages and spread. To exploit the simple pre-processing and analytical method can detect smoothly seven kinds of preservatives. Consequently, we believe that we develop the analysis method will be able to apply widely to supervise the market.
