人類的發展史,無非是一連串的問題回應與問題解決的持續過程。為了有系統的導引問題解決過程的推廣,以便有效的加以管理。歷來各領域的專家與學者已經發展出一些特殊的問題管理的方法與模式,其中隱然呈現高度的共通性。 在品質管理領域中,在試圖有效管理各種廣義的品質問題的進程中,也有不少類似的模式與手法。近十餘年來新發展出來的六標準差方案,因其具有明確的步驟、目標與任務,帶出了明顯的成效,因而異軍突起,蔚為全球採行的風潮。 在各形各色的六標準差方案中,對於問題管理歷程雖有MAIC、DMAIC、DMADV、DFSS及8D等不同的型式與名稱,實則彼此之間也是具有高度的共通性。 有鑑於此,本研究旨在既有的問題管理歷程的基礎模型之上,整合當今「六標準差」的問題管理模式,重構一個通用問題管理歷程模式,並加以實證研究,期能找出一個適用於當今e世代環境的通用問題管理模式。
The human history can be considered as a continuous process of reacting and solving problems encountered in various aspects of life. For the purpose of systematic guiding and effective management of problem solving process, experts of various disciplines have, since long, developed numerous specific problem solving methodologies and models. Among these, a high degree of commonality is observed. In the discipline of quality profession, various problems are often considered as quality problems in the broad sense, and get solved through common model and methodologies Among various efforts, the newly developed Six Sigma Way has emerged as a very successful problem solving approach. The Six Sigma Way is signified by its clear steps, objectives and tasks in solving various problems. Significant outcomes have been reported all over the world. Among its numerous variations, there exist seemingly different forms and terminologies referring to the steps of problem solving process such as MAIC, DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS, and 8D etc. However, in the nutshell, there also exists a high degree of commonality among them. In view of these findings, it is the purpose of this research project to redefine a generalized problem solving process model, incorporating the existing common models used in various fields with the ones practiced in the Six Sigma Way. Together with additional empirical study, it is to look for an effective problem solving model applicable to the management environment in this e-Age.
