摘要


摘要 本研究主要分為兩部份,ㄧ是以乳化聚合(Emulsion polymerization)方式製備水性壓克力乳膠(PMBS),再將黏土以溶液聚合法(Solution dispersion)分散於水性乳膠中,製備水性乳膠/黏土奈米複合材料;另一則是以原位聚合(In-situ polymerization)方式製備聚亞醯胺/黏土奈米複合材料。在黏土改質部份,利用四級銨鹽或磷鹽等界面活性劑當作改質劑,提升黏土之有機性,使原先親水性之黏土改質為親油性,進而改善黏土與高分子間之相容性。 本研究中,將進一步探討奈米複合材料在防腐蝕性質、熱性質及機械性質之變化。利用廣角X-ray繞射儀(WAXRD)觀察黏土之層間距變化;利用穿透式電子顯微鏡(TEM)觀察黏土分散於高分子中的情形;使用循環伏特電位儀(CV)量測防腐蝕性質之相關數據;另外,以熱重分析儀(TGA)與微差掃描式熱分析儀(DSC)觀察奈米複合材料之熱性質變化,以動態機械分析儀(DMA)量測奈米複合材料之機械性質。

Abstract A series of water-based polyacrylate/clay nanocomposite materials were prepared successfully by the effective dispersion of nanolayers of the montmorillonite (MMT) clay in the polyacrylate matrix through solution dispersion. On the other side, a series of polyimide/clay nanocomposite materials were prepared by the in-situ emulsion polymerization. The organophilic clay was prepared by cation-exchange reactions between the sodium cations of the MMT clay and the quaternary alkylphosphonium cations of the intercalating agent. The synthesized materials were subsequently investigated with a series of characterization techniques, including wide-angle powder X-ray diffraction (WAXRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Comparative studies of the optical clarity, molecular barrier properties, and thermal stability of samples prepared in both ways, as membranes and fine powders, were also performed with ultraviolet–visible transmission spectroscopy (UV-vis), molecular permeability analysis, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), respectively.
