以光學偵測技術線上監測仿廢水於沉浸式薄膜模組濾餅層厚度變化之研究

摘要


本研究以原位光學偵測系統(in-situ optical)的光遮斷感測器測定沉浸式薄膜模組過濾時濾餅層之成長。過去研究曾針對無機粒子水溶液去做探討,然而真實廢水溶液成分還包含有機粒子,因此本文則自行以商業型的二氧化鈦粒子添加腐植酸粒子配製不同濃度成分的模擬廢水去針對不同滲透通量和曝氣量的操作條件下,對濾餅生成做探討。 研究結果顯示,感測器靈敏度取決於周圍的介質或反射物質不同,造成訊號強度上的差異,故在研究中所選用的膜材、進料液濃度和感測器之輸入電壓,須各別進行靈敏度的校正,確認感測器的靈敏度後,選擇最佳靈敏度操作條件下模擬過濾時之濾餅生成。PTFE薄膜上反射偵測器的訊號比PVDF低,當輸入電壓從10伏特增至12伏特時,校正曲線更趨於線性,但感測器的訊號波動較10伏特時來得嚴重。在未添加腐植酸時,過濾所形成的濾餅緻密度較鬆散,隨著腐植酸濃度增加,所形成的濾餅層厚度逐漸下降。在低滲透通量時,薄膜堵塞較不易產生;高滲透通量時,透膜壓則會迅速地升高。若於過濾時以大流量的氣體進行連續式曝氣或間歇式曝氣,可有效抑制濾餅層之成長。

The cake formation in submerged membrane modules was investigated using an in-situ optical device. However, the fouling behavior depends on wastewater components. Purposes of this research were emphasized on the effects of simulated wastewater concentrations (TiO2 and humic acid), permeate rate and aeration on the growth of fouling cake layer thickness for using photo-interrupt sensors. In order to verify the validity of this method, the effect of membrane material (PVDF and PTFE), voltage (10-12 V) and humic acid concentration (0-15 ppm) on sensor signal were examined. Results showed that the slope of sensor calibration plot would be decreased as the humic acid concentration increased. It was also observed that the sensor signal fluctuation at 12V was higher than that at 10 V. The cake layers would be thin and compact as the humic acid concentration increased. It was also observed that transmembrane pressure (TMP) rise rapidly at high permeate rate. The cake thickness on membrane surface was suppressed due to continuous or semi-continuous aeration. Therefore, online monitoring techniques could play a major role in understanding the cake formation mechanism and this may helpful to accomplish a better control over reduction of membrane fouling.
