學步期幼兒於科學活動過程的利社會行為表現–以「合作行為」為例

摘要


本研究旨在探討學步期幼兒在進行科學活動過程中的合作行為表現。本研究採質性研究,由研究者針對桃園縣某幼兒園之寶貝班幼兒,進行一系列科學活動,並藉由研究者自編的「幼兒合作行為檢核表」、活動日誌、活動相片、幼兒作品等,觀察幼兒在科學活動上的合作行為表現情形,以得知學步期幼兒參與科學活動所產生的合作行為表現為何。研究結果發現,只要我們給予其適當、適性之活動內容,即使是學步期的幼兒,也可以與同儕間有合作的互動行為,其合作行為包括:樂於參與團體活動、請他幫忙時不會拒絕、會和幼兒一起共同完成一件事、能貢獻自己的力量、遵守活動秩序與活動規則、和幼兒共同解決問題、有討論時能仔細聆聽,樂於與人分享等;且本研究亦發現幼兒若能長時間接觸科學,對於幼兒在邏輯思考、科學知識與科學技能的表現上,皆會大大的提升。

The overall goal of the study is to characterize the cooperative behavior of toddlers during scientific activities and education. This is a case study based on behavioral performance of toddlers from a kindergarten school in Taoyuan County. Behavioral performance of toddlers was registered using custom designed behavioral checklists, journals, photos and final works from the activities. Based on the behavioral performance, the investigators focused on evaluating the cooperative behavior during scientific activities. Our results demonstrated that with appropriate scientific activities and adequate amount of instructions, even toddlers could demonstrate cooperative behavior. The range of cooperative behavior observed in our study includes: participating group activities, willing to help others, work with peers, contribute, follow the rules and maintain healthy working environment, wiling to solve problems with peers, listen and discuss, share, etc. Our results suggest that the exposure to the scientific activities will help toddlers to learn to cooperate with others, which will be beneficial for sharpening their logical thinking, acquiring scientific knowledge and skills.
