Lean production has been considered one of the most influential process management philosophies because it is mainly centered on continuous improvement, a drive for perfection, and the creation of business value. The ideology originated from the Toyota Company as it focused on removing inconsistencies in production through the elimination of wastes. This study shows how the same philosophy is implemented in the women’s lingerie industry through the application of value-stream and smooth flow analysis. The implementation led to significant changes in the pace of production that resulted in decreased costs, inventories, and wastes. Through the application and awareness of the lean philosophy, the company has created better business value, reduced production costs, and improved staff awareness. Moreover, it has achieved improved production patterns as the company performs in coordination with the changing market demand.
