非溶劑型環氧樹脂/黏土奈米複合材料之製備 與物性研究

摘要


摘要 有機/無機奈米複合材料是目前熱門的研究主題之一,主要是利 用有機高分子以及無機物質黏土兩者之特性相乘而形成奈米複合材料(Nanocomposites)。而本研究主要即是將改質後的黏土加入環氧樹脂中,進行開環反應,得到奈米複合材料。並利用FT-IR、XRD、TEM…等加以鑑定黏土在環氧樹脂中的分散情形。同時以DSC、TGA、DMA、TMA…等儀器測試其熱性質、機械性質。又因為分散在環氧樹脂材料中的黏土為層狀結構排列,使得水分通過的路徑更加蜿蜒,而能延長水分的通過的時間並有效降低吸水率。

Organic-Inorganic hybrid materials are the materials that combining the characteristics from multiplicated speciality of the organic and inorganic moieties. A series of novel polymer-clay nanocomposite(PCN) encapsulation materials that consist of organic epoxy resin andinorganic nanolayers of montmorillonite clay were prepared through thermal ring-opening polymerization.The as-synthesized materialswere subsequently characterized by Fourier transformation infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, powder X-Ray diffraction (XRD) pattern andtransmission electron microscopy (TEM). Effects of the material composition on the thermal properties and mechanical strength of epoxyresin along with a series of PCN materials, in the form of membrane,were also studied by thermor avimetric analyses (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) and thermal mechanical analyzer (TMA), respectively. Because of high aspect ratio and platy morphology of clay, we can by introducing clay into epoxy effectively increase the length of the diffusion pathways .
