摘要


硬體可靠度、軟體可靠度及程序可靠度是當今許多複雜產品或系統鼎足而立,依故障原因區分的三種重要可靠度指標。程序可靠度是指因產品的生產、使用或維護文件的內容錯誤或含意不清,而引起產品在一定的文件使用時間內發生功能故障、安裝錯誤或維修問題的機率。程序可靠度在工業界應用很廣,特別是依賴高正確性程序文件的產業,例如通訊業、醫院管理、公共交通管理等。這些產業中,程序可靠度相關的故障或安全事故,在全體故障原因中,占有極顯著比例。改善程序可靠度須要避免在程序文件製作過程中,因人為的誤失或不嚴謹的文件製作流程所形成的程序錯誤。因此,具有高品質的文件正確性與明朗性乃是程序可靠度的首要條件。 當前對程序可靠度的研究文獻,特別是其量化分析與預測甚少。本研究探討軟體可靠度與程序可靠度的故障原因的相似性,並以軟體可靠度預測所使用的非齊次卜瓦松過程 (NHPP, Non-Homogeneous Poisson Process) 中的兩種模型, 基本執行時間模型 (Basic Execution Time Model) 與對數卜瓦松執行時間模型(Logarithmic Poisson Execution Time Model) 作為程序可靠度在產品相關文件發展期間的預測方法。進而,應用程序故障率,作為預測產品相關文件,在何時可以達到預期的程序故障率目標,並可發行使用的依據。

Hardware reliability, software reliability and procedure reliability are the three key reliability index in today's sophisticated product or system that based on cause of failure. Procedure reliability is a probability of product failure during a certain period of time caused by using the related product document such as manufacturing instruction, usage manual or maintenance procedure that contains mistakes or ambiguous meaning. Procedure reliability has very wide applications in industries, especially for the industries which rely on high accuracy of procedure document, for example: the telecommunication industry, hospital management, public traffic administration etc. In these industries, failures or safety events induced by procedure problems account for a significant percentage in total failure causes. Improvement of procedure reliability needs to prevent procedure failures which were caused mainly by procedure faults from human errors or procedure preparing process during procedure generation. Therefore, providing a high quality of procedure document on its accuracy and clarity of meaning is the first and foremost condition for high procedure reliability. Current researches on procedure reliability are quite few, especially on its quantification analysis and prediction. This study explores the similarity of software reliability and procedure reliability on their failure causes. Two of the Non Homogeneous Poisson Process (NHPP) model family that were used in software reliability during its development phase are selected for procedure reliability analysis and prediction. They are: the Basic Execution Time Model and the Logarithmic Poisson Execution Time Model. Furthermore, using procedure failure rate as an index to predict when the procedure document can reach its failure rate objective and therefore the document can be released for publication and usage.
