退役職業棒球選手生涯規劃之探討

摘 要
本研究目的旨在探討分析職棒選手的退役原因、退役前之生涯規劃情形、退役後之就業問題及滿意情形，並瞭解在職棒所得的經驗是否對現職有所幫助，最後提供給現役選手在生涯規劃方向一個參考。研究方法透過質性研究之訪談法，訪談八位參與職棒的選手，他們平均年資在7.75±3.20年。研究結果經分析討論後，獲得以下結論：
一、職業棒球選手退役原因有：運動傷害、不適應複雜環境、個人能力與球員更替、職棒簽賭案、台灣兩大職棒聯盟合併、退役前就設定好參與年數、轉擔任教練、缺乏上場機會及家庭因素。
二、職業棒球選手退役前生涯規劃情形：大部分職棒選手皆無妥善的生涯規劃。
三、職業棒球選手退役後在求職遇到的問題：缺乏完善的生涯規劃、待遇差異太大、學歷不足無法成為正式教職員以及工作適應問題。
四、職棒經驗對現職的影響：由於研究參與者現職皆與棒球有關，所以認為職棒的歷練對現職有很大的幫助。
五、提供給現役選手在生涯規劃上建議：退役後可規劃至基層服務、有效提升自己的知能與語言表達能力、加強運動傷害防護觀念、提升整體職業道德與水準、提升自己的實力，以及必須擁有完善的生涯規劃。

Abstract
This study was aimed to explore and analyze the retirement reasons, before retirement, employment problems and its satisfaction after, and to realize whether the experiences obtained from professional baseball do any he1p to present position, and eventually provide active players a reference and mirror in the direction of career planning. The research method was based on interview of qualitative research, to interviewed eight professional baseball players, whose average seniority is about 7.78±3.20 years. The conclusion was obtained after the analysis and discussion of research result:
1.The retirement reasons for professional baseball players were : Sport injury, unaccommodated to the complicated environment, individual ability and the replacement of players, gambling scandals of professional baseball, the combination of two main professional baseball leagues in Taiwan, participating years settled before retirement, transferring to serve as the coach, lacking opportunities to play and family factors.
2.The career planning situation before professional baseball players retirement: Most professional baseball players don?t have a well-arranged career plan before retirement.
3.Problems that professional baseball players encountered while seeking for employment after retirement : Lack well-arranged career planning so that they can?t get a job right away, the pay of the current position has great discrepancy with that in the period of professional baseball, inadequate education background to be an official teaching staff and work adaptability.
4.Do the professional baseball experiences have any influence on current position: Due to the current positions of research participants were all in relation to baseball, they regard the experiences in professional baseball do great help to their current positions.
5.Career planning suggestions provided to active players: To plan to serve in the basic level after retirement, promote personal knowledge and the oratorical ability, reinforce sport injury protection concepts, promote entire professional moral and level of professional baseball, enhance personal ability, the final advice is to have perfect career planning.
