女人的肚子住了什麼?-女性生殖美學的再探究

摘要


2007年二月因子宮肌腺瘤,面臨可能要摘除子宮的命運,原本應該孕育生命的溫床,卻被一個如同嬰孩般大小的腫瘤所盤據。它取代了小孩的地位,並從我體內獲取養分,慢慢茁壯,影響著我的生理與心理,這種奇妙的感覺,讓我開始關注不孕婦女與「頂客族」女性的想法,於是便想透過本創作-「女人的肚子住了什麼?-女性生殖美學的再探究」,予以深究。 女性生殖的崇拜起至遠古時代,近代隨著女性自我意識的抬頭,不再受父權思想的箝制,女性開始爭取所謂的「性自主」,不再只為傳宗接代,爭取家庭地位而生育。此研究目的有三: 一、 了解究竟是何物取代了嬰孩的位置,佔領了女人的子宮, 二、 探究婦科腫瘤對女性孕育生命所帶來的矛盾想法, 三、 創造新的「女性生殖美學」的藝術語彙。 筆者企圖從不同的面向探討女性生殖的問題,從婦科腫瘤探討女性面對生育所帶來的痛苦與折磨。將刺繡此等「女紅藝術」與「縫合手術」運用在自己的作品中,並以花朵與蓮蓬等具象的陰性生殖符號做為作品的重要語彙,且創造出抽象的卵子與腫瘤的符號,以隱晦的符碼貫穿整體的創作理念,藉此表達這從未探討過的議題,其能開創出新的女性生殖母題,並希望世人能多關心困擾婦女的婦科疾病。

It’s all because of my adenomyosis which I got in Febrary,2007. I faced the destiny of taking off my womb. Originally a baby should be conceived in the womb, but now it’s occupied by the unexpected tumor. The tumor not only replaced the baby’s position but also obtained nutrition from my body. It grew bigger gradually and influenced my physiology and mental state. This marvelous feeling let me start paying attention to the viewpoint of barren women and “DINK” female. Therefore, I planned to make researchs through this creation-“What lived in the woman’s belly? -A further research of female reproduction aesthetics” The adoration of female reproduction originates from remote antiquity. With the rise of female self-consciousness, the female begin to fight for so-called “sex independence”. They are no longer controlled by the father-power thoughts. And they give birth to a child neither for continuing the family line nor for their family position. There are three main points explaining the purpose of this research: 1. Understand what replaced the baby’s position and what took possession of the woman’s womb. 2. Investigate the thoughts of contradict between the disease of gynecology tumor and woman’s conceiving a child. 3. Create a new art glossary of female reproduction esthetics. I attempt to learn the facts about the female problems of reproduction in different ways. I also want to discuss the problem of the pain and afflictions which women face when they are surrounded by the disease of gynecology tumor and the reproduction. Next, I try to combine the idea of “needlework art” with the sewing of surgical operation in my work. In the meanwhile, I take advantage of the form of flowers and the cupule of lotus to be a symbol of feminine gender as the important glossary of my work. Furthermore, I also create an abstract sign of ovum and tumor to connect the whole idea of creation. By this way, we could have a thorough discussion of this issue. Finally, I hope people could much concern the gynecology disease which the women suffer from all the time.
