生活科技教師對台北市生活科技競賽意見之調查研究

摘要


本研究旨在了解生活科技教師對台北市生活科技競賽之相關意見。研究對象以曾參加過九十五學年度至九十七學年度台北市生活科技競賽之各校帶隊的生活科技教師為母群進行普查,主要為了解受訪者對台北市生活科技競賽的「競賽目的」、「競賽題目」以及「競賽過程」的看法。研究過程依據研究者自行發展的「生活科技教師對臺北市生活科技科學藝競賽意見之調查研究問卷」進行調查,並配合問卷最後的開放意見欄來更深入瞭解教師對競賽的意見。 本研究獲得主要結果如下: 一、帶隊教師對台北市生活科技競賽目的均表示出一定程度的認同。但對於「能導引生活科技教學卓越化」以及「能導引生活科技教學正常化」這兩項目的則認為無法完全透過競賽的舉辦來達成。 二、帶隊教師認為競賽題目的設計確實能強化學生推理與創意設計的能力,也認為目前的題目的設計能結合生活議題,培養學生具有符合未來生活需求的能力。 三、帶隊教師認為近幾年台北市生活科技競賽的題目設計太多偏向於「能源與運輸」領域,甚至有超出了教師教導與學生教材學習的範圍。 四、帶隊教師對於競賽評審的組成以「可根據該競賽內容再額外聘請相關專業人士」的認同度最高。 五、帶隊教師對於現行競賽的計分方式雖然判定程度為沒有意見,但還是有教師認為部分的配分仍需要調整,其中以「功能檢測」為最多。 六、帶隊教師對於競賽過程可以協助學生學習工具使用、材料運用、整合科學與科技知識、了解如何分析工作與解決問題的步驟以及提升加工技術是持相當程度的認同。

This study mainly investigated living technology teachers’ opinions about the Living Technology Contest in Taipei City. A self-developed questionnaire titled “Survey on Living Technology Teachers’ Opinions about The Living Technology Contest in Taipei City” was administered to living technology teachers who led teams to participate in Taipei City Living Technology Contest during the academic years from 2006 to 2008 to understand team-leading teachers’ perceptions of the “goals”, “subjects”, and “processes” of the contest. At the end of the questionnaire, open-ended questions were also designed to extract more in-depth opinions of the teachers. The main findings of this research are as follows: 1.The team-leading teachers agreed with the goals of the Living Technology Contest to a considerable extent. However, they considered that “excellence in the living technology education” and “normalization of the living technology instructions” cannot be attained or achieved through competitions. 2.The team-leading teachers shared common views that the subjects of the contest could really help enhance students’ reasoning and creative design abilities. Besides, they also agreed that the current contest subjects have been designed to integrate many living related issues and can develop students’ abilities to cope with the needs of their future life. 3.The team-leading teachers pointed out an obvious orientation of the contest subjects in recent years toward “energy and transportation”. They said some of these subjects were even outside the scope of teachers’ instructions and students’ learning materials. 4.When asked about the composition of the contest judges, a higher ratio of the teachers agreed that “professionals can be employed to be additional judges according to the theme of each contest”. 5.The team-leading teachers made no particular comment on the evaluation criteria used in the contest but mentioned that weighting of some criteria should be properly adjusted. Most of them considered that “test of functions” should be properly weighted. 6.The team-leading teachers had a high degree of consensus that the contest could help students learn how to use tools, utilize materials, integrate science and technology knowledge, analyze the processes of completing a task or solving a problem, and enhance their processing techniques.
