高科技廠商技術移轉過程-以資源基礎觀點分析

摘要


本研究以視廠商具有異質性資源的資源基礎觀點(resource-based view, RBV)與廠商間技術移轉(technology transfer)的理論基礎,檢視高科技廠商為何(Why)跨入另一相關或迥異的產業,此時將如何(How to)運用原有的技術與產生何種獨特技術移轉路徑,並透由個案比較,試圖發現高科技廠商技術移轉路徑之異同。本研究以台灣高科技廠商為研究對象,討論議題為: 1. 高科技廠商進行技術移轉的動機為何? 2. 高科技廠商的資源與能力對技術移轉途徑的選擇有何影響? 3. 高科技廠商如何進行技術移轉? 4. 進行技術移轉有何困難? 研究方法先採用次級資料分析法,簡述廠商本業與所跨入之產業的概況以選取標的廠商,研究對象是透過產學合作計畫接觸而來,主要個案廠商是已上櫃的公司,經由聯繫後願意持續接受訪談者,再運用深度訪談法獲得廠商技術移轉的歷程軌跡。 研究結果顯示高科技廠商跨產業的動機以創立者最具影響力;資源較多的廠商會選擇併購、整廠輸出等快速跨入市場,但耗費較多金錢、精神的途徑,資源較匱乏的廠商則會尋求國內研究機關,或大學產學合作;技術移轉的結果則會影響下一次技術移轉的路徑選取。

In this study, as the heterogeneous vendor with resource-based view and the technology transfer theoretical between companies, to see why the high-tech manufacturers threshold another related or regression different industries, and at this point how it will the use of existing technology and what a unique technology transfer path, and through the case of comparison, high-tech companies trying to find the similarities and differences between technology transfer path. In this study, the issues to be discussed are: 1. High-tech manufacturers to carry out technology transfer motives are? 2. High-tech companies the resources and the ability to choose the way of technology transfer impact? 3. The high-tech companies how to conduct technology transfer? 4. What is difficult to carry out technology transfer? Research methods to the use of secondary data analysis method, outlined by the manufacturers to enter the industry and an overview of the industry to select the subject of manufacturers, the study is industry-university cooperation program through contacts from the major manufacturers have been cases of OTC companies, and then the use of depth interviews with vendors to obtain the course of technology transfer trajectory. The results showed that high-tech companies across industries, motivated by the founders of the most influential; resources more companies will choose M & A, the whole plant output into the market quickly, but the lack of manufacturers will seek domestic research institutes, university-industry co-operation or university; the result of technology transfer will be a technology transfer under the influence of the path selected.
