This thesis focus on the continuous-wave operation of a diode-end-pumped solid- laser. In this study, we observed detailedly the effects of laser properties, comes from the reflectance of the output coupler, cutting angle of laser crystal, the pumping beam size, and the Neodymium doped concentrations of the crystal. For optimization of laser performance, we lead the spatial distribution rate equation. To compare with the experimental results, the theoretical model almost precisely predicts the laser output power and the laser threshold. The final goal of the study is to construct the optimized parameters of the laser performance for the future solar pumping laser systems.
