Improvement in Facility Hookup Performance of a Wafer Fab Plant – A Case Study of X Company

摘要

晶圓代工廠最大資本投資就是機器設備，對於設備高昂的資本支出，最重要是能夠快速帶來營收，由於產能建置速度取決於裝機完成所需時間，因此，產能能夠快速建置完成，就能提早開始有營收收入，所以如何有效提高裝機效率並減短裝機所需時間，是本文最重要課題。
統計機台各工種完成完工時間，發現裝機完成速度取決於氣體管路施工完成時間點，瓶頸在氣體裝機。本研究以特性要因圖分析，找出影響氣體管路施工，造成裝機效率下降的原因：1. 工具箱會議時間 2. 領料與組盤耗時 3. 施工單準備 4. 工具與機具效能 5. 品質不良與紀律造成停工與修改 6. 延長工作時間。經由本研究提出改善對策實施之後，總體效率提升23.5%。經由其他能提高裝機效率的方法：1. 焊工效能最佳化 2. 以區域機台同時施作，提高總效能達32.5%。
經由實施氣體管路施工提升效率對策之後，還是無法達到個案公司裝機需求，後再經由其他廠區支援施工人力或引進新廠商，最終達到個案公司每月三百台裝機目標，產線建置提前2~3個月完成，制定新裝機流程，提升裝機效率，可讓公司提前有營收收入並減少機台折舊。

Foundry machinery equipment is the largest capital investment. For high capital expenditures of machinery equipment, quickly bring in revenue is the most important. Tool output capacity depends on the speed of tool installation, faster tool installation, can make revenue income early, so how to improve the installation efficiency and reduce the installation time is the most important topic of this thesis.
Statistically analyze installation time of each machine, we find out that tool gas piping loading is tool installation bottleneck. Cause and effect diagram to tell us, the factors of poor gas installation efficiency are:
1. Tool box meeting time.
2. Gas material and panel ducking.
3. Tool work list arrange.
4. Efficiency of welding machine.
5. Poor quality and discipline caused downtime and modification.
6. Extended time of work.
After the implementation of improvement, the overall efficiency increased by 23.5%. Other methods to improve the efficiency of the installation:
1. Optimize the welder efficiency.
2. Simultaneously apply the machines in the same area.
Efficiency total increase by 32.5%.
After the implementation of efficiency improvement, the installation capacity also could not be meet case company goal. New manufacturers manpower supported from other factories, eventually reached the case company goal is 300 tools installation per month. Develop new installation procedures, improve installation efficiency, can make the company to generate revenue and reduce machine depreciation.
