國中英語教科書重大議題內涵之分析

The Analysis of Integrating Important Issues in Junior High School English Textbooks

摘要

本研究旨在分析重大議題融入國中語文（英語）教科書之分布情形，尤其關注各項重大議題學習內涵與其能力指標之分布狀況。研究對象以教育部審核通過之翰林版、康軒版、南一版三個版本的一○二學年度國中英語教科書為主，包含各版本第一冊至第六冊，共計十八冊之英語教科書。本研究採內容分析法，並依據教育部（2008）國民中小學九年一貫課程綱要之重大議題能力指標為分析類目進行研究，藉由量化統計與質性分析探討三個版本英語教科書中重大議題融入之情形。
本研究的結果發現如下：
一、各版本所涵蓋的重大議題內容均呈現分布不均之現象，以課數多寡來看，依序為翰林版、康軒版與南一版。
二、各版本英語教科書對各項重大議題主類目之呈現重心各有不同。
三、就三個版本呈現重大議題能力指標之所佔比重而言，翰林版與康軒版在各項重大議題能力指標呈現情形頗為相近，南一版於各項重大議題能力指標皆居於比重偏低之情形。
最後本研究根據研究之發現，針對課綱與教科書編審、國中英語教師教學，以及未來研究等方面提出若干建議，並針對本研究不足之處，提供一些可供後續進行相關研究的參考建議。

This study aims to explore how the content of Important Issues is integrated in junior high school English textbooks, especially the distribution of the competence indicators of seven Important Issues. With the content analysis method, this study compared three editions, Han-lin, Kang-xuan, and Nan-yi. Based on the competence indicators of Important Issues, this study analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively the distribution and differences of Important Issues in the three editions.
The major findings of this study are summarized as follows:
1. Important Issues in the three editions are not equally distributed. In regard to the amount of lessons, Han-lin has the most of all.
2. Each edition places emphasis on different categories of Important Issues.
3. In regard to the distribution of competence indicators of Important Issues, Han-lin and Kang-xuan are quite similar, whereas Nan-yi shows the least indicators.
Finally, according to the findings of this research, some suggestions were contributed to curricula, teaching, and future studies.
