On the basis of the meanings of quantifiers each, every and al, this thesis atends to two main isues. The first isue concentrates on the forms of noun quantified by distributive quantifiers each and every and the verb forms used in conjunction with each and every in TSL. Acording to Taiwan Sign Language (hereafter TSL) data, it is found out that distributive quantifiers can be used with singular noun or plural noun. In aditon, both each and every can apear with verb forms conveying totaly distributive event. Aside from totaly distributive event, every can also go with verb forms expresing partialy distributive event and colective event. The second isue focuses on the forms of noun headed by colective quantifier al and the forms of verb ocuring with al in TSL. The result exhibits that nouns headed by al indicating multiplex sets can be in singular or plural forms. Moreover,al can be compatible with verb forms conveying colective event or distributive event. When colective quantifier al is in conjunction with the forms of verb signifying distributive event, al highlights its distributive aspect of meaning.
