台灣物聯網產業發展和競爭策略分析之個案研究

摘要

物聯網為近代新興的產業之一，在RFID等硬體技術逐漸成熟和無線通訊發展愈來愈進步之下，各行各業也開始使用物聯網的新技術來做出創新或改善效率，目前台灣的物聯網產業尚處於新興發展階段，因此本研究針對台灣物聯網產業進行分析與介紹，希望能幫助台灣企業在未來轉型獻上一份心力。

本研究使用個案研究法作為研究方法，首先闡述物聯網運行的原理，並針對物聯網的三層架構進行說明，接著介紹物聯網產業的產業鏈，並針對應用層產業做出初步分類，之後聚焦於台灣的物聯網產業，對目前各產業中的物聯網應用舉例進行簡單的介紹，並選取出對三個目前在台灣產業前景看好的的企業(研華科技、Gogoro和拍付國際)分別分析其在物聯網領域內使用何種商業模式，最後以台灣物聯網產業為主體，針對現在的內部狀況和外部環境進行SWOT分析，分別給予個案企業四個不同層面的策略發展。

Internet of things (IoT) is becoming one of the most popular industries, and with the advances in the process of RFID and wireless communication, a lot of enterprises are starting to combine their products with internet of things and try to improve their efficiency by IoT.

So far, Taiwan’s IoT is still a budding industry so this study analyzes the IoT industry in Taiwan and makes introduction for it. This thesis also aims to help Taiwan’s entreprises to gain more knowledge about this new technology that could be applicable business wise.

This study is a case study research that explains the theory and makes a general introduction of the structure of IoT, and introduces the industrial chain, furthermore it also focuses on the IoT industries in Taiwan, and details the applications from different IoT industries with the examples. Moreover, this study selects three companies (Advantech, Gogoro and PChome online) and analyzes what business models they are using currently, and at the end of this study a SWOT analysis is conducted which is based on Taiwan’s IoT industry and there are four different prospective strategies for the three mentioned enterprises.
