族群、家庭與學習適應-以雲林縣新住民家庭一對兄弟為例

摘要


本研究旨在探討雲林縣新住民家庭一對兄弟學習適應差異之情況,透過族群因素與家庭因素找出造成兩人學習適應情況產生差異之原因,在家庭因素部分是以Bourdieu文化資本論與相關家庭文化資本理論去進行探究。 為深入探究以達成本研究之目標,除以立意取樣選出個案兄弟為研究參與者外,也設法取得其部分師長、同學及母親之同意,共同參與本研究,採半結構式訪談並輔以相關文件蒐集分析,找出兩兄弟學習適應產生差異的原因。本研究所獲得之研究結論如下: 一、母親的族群因素因文化差異對兄弟的學業成就有負面影響 二、內化形式文化資本對哥哥的學習適應有正面影響,以「個人的自由時間」幫助最 大;弟弟則多是負面影響。 三、具體化形式文化資本對哥哥的的學習適應多是正面影響,「家庭的經濟狀況」對弟 弟的學習適應多是負面影響,「文化財貨的擁有」則是無影響。 四、祖母的差別待遇對弟弟的學習適應有負面影響。 五、同家庭之新住民兄弟學習適應差異的主要原因-母親的缺位、弟弟對課業學習的歸 因錯誤。 六、母親離家後的家庭問題,應是經濟不利而非單純文化不利。 七、新住民相關政策對母親助益有限。 八、弟弟的生涯適應相較於哥哥發展會更好。

The research is aimed to investigate the different learning adaptation between two new immigrant brothers in Yunlin. Ethnic group and family are the factors used to find out the reasons why the two brothers have different learning adaptation. Bourdieu’s human capital theory and related family cultural capital theory are adopted as family factors. To deeply reach the objectives, purposeful sampling is adopted to take the two brothers as the case participants. In addition, some of their teachers, classmates, and their mother are invited to take part in this research together. Semi-structured interview, as well as related documents analysis, are used to find out the reasons why the two brothers have different learning adaptation. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Mother’s ethnic group has negative effect on both brothers’ academic achievement. 2. The cultural capital in embodied state has mostly positive effect on the elder brother’s learning adaptation, and “personal free time” is the most significant; on the contrary, mostly negative to the younger brother. 3. The cultural capital in objectified state has mostly positive effect on the elder brother’s learning adaptation, while “economic situation” has mostly negative effect on the younger brother’s. “Cultural good” has no effect. 4. The grandmother’s differentiated treatment has negative effect on the younger brother’s learning adaptation. 5.The main reasons that cause these two new immigrant brothers’ different adaptation- lack of their mother’s duty, and the younger brother’s false study ascription. 6.The family problem after the mom left should be economic disadvantage, not only cultural one. 7. New immigrant policies have limited help to the mother. 8.Compared to the elder brother, the younger one’s career adaptability is better.
