探討高屏地區母乳中多溴聯苯醚的分佈以及與新生兒的生理參數的相關性

Associations between breast milk levels of polybrominated diphenyl ethers in kaoping areas and the physiological parameters

摘要

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) have caused the potential adverse effect on thyroid hormone and neurodevelopment which are highly associated with widely used brominated flame retardants (BFRs). Breast milk is an important sample for understanding the postnatal exposure of POPs in newborn and infant. Therefore, the aim of this study is thus to investigate concentrations of PBDEs in breast milk and to further found potential effect factors. In the present study, participants were healthy pregnant women which randomly recruited from medical center of Kaohsiung and Pingtung areas in Southern Taiwan between December 2014 and June 2016. fourteen PBDEs were analyzed with a high-resolution gas chromatograph/high-resolution mass spectrometer (HRGC/HRMS). Our results observed that BDE-209 contributed 37.4% of total PBDEs and found negative correlations between BDE-209 and thyroid hormones including T3, T4, FT3 and FT4. Did not found significant different between population, education and annual income and how often the electronic products used and consumers of dairy, meat and fish. Our result also found decline concentration of PBDEs in breast milk in Taiwan. In addition, principal component analysis (PCA) results showed 28% and 44% participants may direct and indirect exposure to PBDEs in Taiwan.

多溴聯苯醚(Polybrominated diphenyl ethers；PBDEs)已經證實對於甲狀腺荷爾蒙與神經行為發展具有不良的影響，大量使用添加溴化阻燃劑的商品，導致人類暴露在PBDEs環境中的機會增多。由於母親體內的PBDEs會經由產後餵食母乳使其傳至嬰兒，嬰兒出生後可能因為哺育的方式不同而受到不同程度暴露，故本研究目的為探討台灣南部地區母乳中PBDEs濃度並找出其潛在的影響因子。本研究時間介於2014年12月到2016年6月，研究族群為高屏地區某大型醫院，產後收集臍帶血及母乳，以化學分析方法高分辨率氣相色譜/高分辨率質譜儀（HRGC/HRMS）進行分析。本研究結果顯示14種PBDEs同構物以BDE-209濃度為最高約佔37.4%，其中BDE-209與T3、T4、FT3、FT4均呈現顯著負相關。問卷調查家中使用電器現況、經常性食用乳製品、肉類、魚類與有機食材等與產婦族群、學歷、年收入等在分析上均沒有顯著差異。台灣在母乳中PBDEs平均濃度呈現逐年下降的趨勢，且主成分分析結果顯示，28%之受試者可能持續受到PBDEs直接之污染，44%之受試者則間接受到PBDEs污染。
