Around the world, the farm economy has grown for a long time, but in Vietnam, the new farm economic development and recognition from around the 90s of the 20th century. During the process of formation and development, farm economy still faces many difficulties and shortcomings in policies and mechanisms on land, capital, credit, science and technology Nowadays, a lot of large and small studies have been conducted on household economy generally and farming economy particularly in all regions of the country. In general, those studies have raised and been keen on clarifying the theoretical and practical foundation of household economy and farming economy to find out what directions to go and suggest solutions in order to promote the economic role of farming economy in such potential agriculture. Dissertation consists of 5 chapters: Chapter 1 : Introduction; Chapter 2: Theoretical foundation; Chapter3: Research method; Chapter 4: Data analysis and results; Chapter 5: Discussions and Conclusions. Thesis was to study the economic conditions - social districts; soil conditions, climate, topography, hydrology, infrastructure that affect the development of the farm economy. Research the size of the farm is, the status of assets, capital, number of employees are operating in the farm. Since then provide evaluations, comments and suggestions for solutions to the economic development of the farm on Bac Quang district. Dissertation consists evaluate the real status of farming economy development in Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province in order to discover much untapped potentials. Then provide solutions for farming economy development effectively, increase income and improve the life of local people, contributing to promote the local rural and agricultural development.
