多功能方向盤圖示與標示認知之使用性研究

摘要


汽車多功能方向盤的目的是在減少駕駛者將視線移開路面,增加行駛的安全性。但目前的按鈕配置與其標示和圖示,以及使用方式也不相同,使用者可能需要學習新的使用方式,因此使用者是否瞭解功能按鈕上的標示與圖示也是很重要的。 本研究先以國產車上可能會讓使用者混淆或誤解的標示與圖示,進行問卷調查,調查使用者對其標示與圖示的認知。發現大部分的使用者並不清楚標示的意思,對沒有使用過多功能方向盤的使用者會有些困難,而對於有使用過多功能方向盤的使用者,也不清楚其它標示的意思。本研究透過MONDEO的多功能方向盤為實驗樣本,進行使用性測試,使用性測試分成改善前與改善後測試,實驗樣本皆以FLASH軟體建置,並於實驗後請受試者填寫主觀滿意度調查問卷,與詢問受試者的意見。前、後測試有6位受試者與2位熟練者。受試者共有6位,一半男生,一半女生,都有使用過多功能向盤與沒有使用過多功能方向盤的使用者。以熟練者的平均時間為基準,進行加權模式。滿意度與操作時間,以統計來檢測改善前與改善後,是否有明顯的變化。 本研究結果發現:1.圖示清楚明顯能增加使用者的認知。2.提供使用者回饋,可以讓使用者確認按鈕標示與圖示的功能。3.改善部份標示與圖示並給予回饋,能增加使用者的使用性與滿意度。4. 圖示比英文字母縮寫標示更能增加使用者的使用認知。5. 圖示的選用需要瞭解圖示對使用者會產生的認知是什麼,來調整功能的分配,或依照功能的使用來選用圖示。6.數字顯示速度能幫助使用者確認設定速度。7.使用者會經由所提供的介面與回饋,來推測標示與圖示所代表的功能。使用者會經由標示與圖示所在的位置,與相對應的關係來推測功能作用。經由改善前與改善後的使用性測試後,可以瞭解透過標示與圖示的改善,並給予回饋,可以增加使用者的認知使用性與滿意度。

Multi-function steering wheel offers the driver safety without taking his or her eyes away from traffic situation. But the present display of button, icon, label and operation is different. Users might need to learn new operation. Thus, it is important for users to know the icon and label on the button. This study uses questionnaire survey includes the icon and label of domestic cars that users might misunderstand to investigate the cognition of users. It is found that most users do not know the meaning of labels. It is difficult for the user never use multi-function steering wheel. For the user ever use multi-function steering wheel is also having some problems to recognize it. In this study, use multi-function steering wheel of Mondeo for experimental sample to proceed usability testing. The usability testing includes two testing processes that are unimproved and improved user interfaces build by flash software. Participants would be asked to fill in the subjective satisfaction questionnaire and giving their option after usability testing. The usability testing has six participants and two experts which are familiar with the interface. Participants are half male and half female that contain ever use multi-function steering wheel and never use. The average task time of two experts would be the basis for the weighted mode. The subjective satisfaction and task time would use statistic to detect significant changes. The study through the usability testing has the conclusion as follows: 1.Obvious icon could improve the cognition of users. 2. Offer feedback could help users confirm the function of icon and labels. 3. Improve some icon and labels and offer feedback could increase users’ usability and satisfaction. 4. Icon is better than the abbreviation of English label that could improve users’ use cognition. 5. The selection of icon is needed to know the cognition of users to adjust the allocation of function, or select the icon by the operation. 6. The digital speed display could help users set the speed. 7. Users would infer the function of icon and label by the interface and feedback. Users might guess the function by the location of icon and label and its relation. Through the usability testing could know that through the improvement of icon and label and give feedback could increase users’ cognition of usability and satisfaction.
