不同防制設備處理揮發性有機物效率之研究

摘要


本研究主要在探討不同種類防制設備對揮發性有機物之處理效率,以目前處理效率較高的三種設備:吸脫附設備、蓄熱式焚化爐及生物濾床防制設備為對象,以採氣袋採樣,採集處理前及處理後之廢氣,再以氣相層析質譜儀進行定性定量分析,所得結果,計算總去除效率及個別物種之處理效率後進行比較,藉此判斷各類防制設備去除率之高低,並針對個別物種官能基去除率進行比對,加以細分何種官能基之揮發性有機物,可使用何種防制設備使去除率達最佳化。研究結果顯示,總去除率由高至低依序為生物濾床、蓄熱式焚化爐、吸脫附設備,平均總去除率分別94.1、78及61.2%,苯類官能基揮發性有機物以蓄熱式焚化爐及生物濾床較高,去除率分別為79%及93%,酮類官能基則為吸脫附設備及生物濾床較高,去除率分別為94及98%。此外,防制設備之操作也是影響去除率之一項重要因素,如未能將廢氣特性其操作參數調整至最佳條件,則去除率大多無法達到最初設定之標準,公私場所除了選用適當之防制設備外,在防制設備之操作能須多加注意。

The purpose of this study is to compare the removal efficiencies of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) for three different types of control devices: adsorption systeam, regenerative thermal oxidizer and biological filter bed. Exhaust gas was collected before and after these VOC control devices using Tedlar sampling bag. The samples were analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometer (GC/MS). The removal efficiencies of total and individual VOCs and can be calculated. The results showed that total VOC removal efficiency is highest for biological filter bed (94.1%), followed by regenerative thermal oxidizer (78.0%) and adsorption system (61.2%). Removal efficiencies of phenyl group VOCs are 79.0% and 93.0% for regenerative thermal oxidizer and biological filter bed, respectively. For ketone functional groups, adsorption system and biological filter bed have high removal efficiencies (94% and 98% respectively). The operation and maintenance of the control devices also affect the removal efficiencies significantly. In addition to select appropriate devices for best VOC emission control, it is also important to adjust the operating parameters and maintain the devices.
