陳其寬建築作品的構築方式與空間關係之研究-以東海大學為例

摘要


本論文目的是探索台灣戰後第一代建築中,陳其寬先生的建築構築與空間設計方式,以及分析傳統文化的影響。藉由陳其寬在東海大學1960年代白牆建築時期的個案進行分析,並將原始設計圖面建構3D與測繪,探討陳其寬於東海大學個案在台灣近代建築中的價值。 陳其寬先生於1921年在北京出生,是旅居台灣的建築師兼畫家,因為設計東海大學而入籍台灣。童年長期居住在北京四合院,以及求學經歷,使中國建築與繪畫的文化底蘊深植心裡。1951年進入Walter Gropius的TAC建築事務所工作,成為台灣建築師中,少數歷經包浩斯教育的洗禮,同時學習西方繪畫的新技巧融合至中國繪畫空間。1954年與貝聿銘、張肇康先生們合作設計東海大學的陳其寬,在1959年為校園建設開啟白牆建築時期;為此本研究在東海大學白牆建築時期的個案研究中發現: 一、陳其寬融合建築師與藝術家之雙重身分看待設計,建築具理性實用與感性精神的平衡,為台灣近代建築融合出新的構築語言。 二、空間融合西方繪畫的空間肢解、中國文化的自然時間觀。追求使用者與自然共處、動線具有起承轉合之氛圍意境。 三、以新技術、新材料表現中國建築新型態構架,並特別設計具彈性性質的結構,以應變所有空間機能與氛圍變化。 四、以順勢而為的方式,善用材料的自然質感變化空間氣氛;強調地域性觀念,自然景觀為建築設計之一環。 五、陳其寬融合東西方之優點,包含多處文化在細部表現上,作品具有台灣之多元折衷內涵。

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the architectural construction and space design methods of Chen Chi-Kwan in the Emerging Generation of Architecture in Postwar Taiwan, and to analyze the influence of traditional culture. By analyzing Chen Chi-Kwan's works during the White-Wall Construction Period of the 1960s in Tunghai University, and constructing 3D and surveying the original design drawings, the value of Chen Chi-Kwan's works in Tunghai University in modern architecture in Taiwan was discussed. Born in Beijing in 1921, Chen Chi-Kwan was an architect and painter living in Taiwan. He was naturalized in Taiwan because he designed Tunghai University. During his childhood, he lived in Beijing's Siheyuan, and in the course of his studies, the cultural heritage of Chinese architecture and painting was deeply rooted in his heart. In 1951, he joined Walter Gropius's TAC Architects and became one of the few architects in Taiwan who has been baptized by Bauhaus education. At the same time, he learned new techniques of Western painting and merged into Chinese painting space. In 1954, he cooperated with Pei Ieoh-Ming and Chang Chao-Kang to design Chen Chi-Kwan of Tunghai University. In 1959, the White-Wall Construction Period was opened for campus construction. To this end, this study found in a case study of the period of the White-Wall Construction Period of Tunghai University: 1.Chen Chi-Kwan regards the dual identity of architect and artist to view design. The building has a balance of rationality, practicality and perceptual spirit, which brings a new architectural language to modern architecture in Taiwan. 2.Space combines the dismemberment concept of Western painting space with the natural time view of Chinese culture. Pursuing the coexistence of users and nature, and the moving line has an atmosphere of turnaround. 3.New technologies and new materials are used to express the new architecture of Chinese architecture, and the structure with elastic properties is specially designed to adapt to changes in all spatial functions and atmosphere. 4.In a homeopathic way, the natural texture of materials is used to change the space atmosphere; the regional concept is emphasized, the natural landscape is a part of the architectural design. 5.Chen Chi-Kwan combines the advantages of the East and the West, including the detailed expression of multiple cultures, and his work has the Eclecticism of Taiwan.
